【摘要】:Thegrosscalorificvaluecanbeusedtocomputethetotalcalorificcontentofthequantityofcoalorcokerepresentedbythesampleforpaymentpurposes.Thegrosscalorificvaluecanbeusedforcomputingthecalorificvalueversussulfurcontenttodeterminewhetherthecoalmeetsregulatoryrequirementsforindustrialfuels.Thegrosscalorificvaluecanbeusedtoevaluatetheeffectivenessofbeneficiationprocesses.ThegrosscalorificvaluecanberequiredtoclassifycoalsaccordingtoClassificationD388.1.1Thistestmethodpertainstothedeterminationofthegrosscalorificvalueofcoalandcokebyeitheranisoperiboloradiabaticbombcalorimeter.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection8.
